Vissabl is a software company that brings together neighbors, businesses and communities. We use artificial intelligence (AI) to help local businesses look their best and to help you find your way around the site faster. We use it on purpose, in specific places, and we tell you where.
Where we use AI
- Creative Studio. AI helps businesses draft ad copy, headlines and images for their ads and listings. The business reviews and approves every ad before it runs.
- Writing help. AI may suggest descriptions or wording for business profiles, offers and posts. The business or member who publishes it is responsible for what it says.
- Help assistant. Our on-site help assistant is AI. It answers questions about using Vissabl and points you to the right page. It cannot see or change your account, payments or private information, and it hands anything it can't resolve to a person.
- Behind the scenes. We may use AI to help organize listings, sort categories and flag content that may break our rules.
Where we don't
- Business details. Names, addresses, phone numbers and hours come from the business itself or from Google, not from AI guesses.
- Reviews. Reviews on Vissabl are written by real members. We do not use AI to write or invent reviews.
- Your account and payments. Billing, account changes and payment decisions are handled by our systems and our team, not by an AI chatbot.
- Vetting. AI does not vet or endorse businesses. Vissabl does not vet the businesses listed, so please use your own judgment when hiring.
Our commitments
- You'll know when it's a bot. Any time you're chatting with AI on Vissabl, we label it. Ask for a person and we'll route you to one.
- People stay in charge. AI drafts. People approve. Nothing AI-generated runs as an ad without the business signing off.
- AI can be wrong. It can make mistakes or be out of date. If something here looks off, double-check it with the business directly before you rely on it.
- Tell us and we'll fix it. Spot an error? Email support@vissabl.com and we'll review it.
Use of Vissabl is governed by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which control if anything here conflicts with them. We may update this page as our tools change.
