Why we built Vissabl

Bringing business and community together.

Every town has a main street full of family-owned businesses, a calendar full of events, and schools at the heart of it all. Too often those three never meet. Vissabl was created to give a community more visibility into all of it: the local businesses worth knowing, what's happening around town, and how businesses can partner with the schools their customers' kids attend.

Here's how it works. Booster clubs and school programs need to raise money. Local businesses want to sponsor them. All that's missing is the person who knows both sides and makes the introduction. That's the Ambassador.

What an Ambassador does

Connects the school and the sponsor. You're the conduit between a program that needs to raise money and a business that wants to be part of it.
Puts the fundraiser in front of the whole town. Post your school's, team's or booster club's events and fundraisers, and they go live on the school's page and the city page the moment you save.
Brings local businesses into the fold. Introduce us to the family-owned businesses your neighbors already trust, and introduce them to each other.

What you get as a volunteer

An Ambassador profile. Your page on Vissabl becomes an Ambassador page: your photo, your community, the causes you champion, and the businesses you stand behind, your own included.
Your name on the banner. Fundraisers you help bring together can recognize you right alongside the sponsors.
A seat at the table. Ambassadors help decide which businesses we invite and how Vissabl shows up in your town.
A team behind you. Every Ambassador is appointed by a Community Ambassador who's there to help from day one.

What we ask of you

Represent your company, and represent Vissabl. The Ambassador title carries both names. Show up the way you'd want your own business represented.
Connect and vouch; leave the paperwork to us. Vissabl handles pricing, agreements and payments. An Ambassador never sells and never handles money, which is exactly why a school and a sponsor can both trust the introduction.
Give what you can. This is a volunteer role with no quota and no schedule. Some Ambassadors post one fundraiser a season; some run their whole town's calendar. Both are welcome.
Serve as a volunteer. Ambassadors are community volunteers, not employees or contractors of Vissabl.
